Today’s Partner Showcase brought a couple of updates worth highlighting if you track exclusive releases in the Nintendo ecosystem. This post focuses on the latest look at Orbitals and the official reveal of Tokyo Scramble, with special attention to physical availability.
Orbitals appeared again with additional footage/details and a confirmed release window: Summer 2026.
Once the exact date is announced, we’ll update the relevant listing.
The big Switch 2 reveal is Tokyo Scramble, announced as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive with a confirmed release date of 02/11/2026.
It’s described as a “survival puzzle action” game set deep below Tokyo, where clear thinking and split-second decisions can mean life or death.
You play as Anne, a high school student who ends up trapped in an underground world populated by dangerous creatures she nicknames “zinos” (creatures that evolved from dinosaurs).
Gameplay is framed around stealth, strategy (using “apps” to distract/outsmart enemies), and a combat element described as reading enemy attacks and countering using those apps.
The game also supports GameShare and allows up to 4 players to take part by splitting controls (locally or online, with Nintendo’s stated requirements).
For now, Tokyo Scramble appears positioned as a digital release at launch, with no clearly confirmed physical edition.
Because nswitchex.com focuses on physical exclusives, we won’t add it to the catalog yet until there’s verifiable information about a physical release.
