Nintendo has officially presented its new console, Nintendo Switch 2, unveiling a powerful lineup of exclusive games arriving in physical format. The Japanese company’s focus is on first-party titles, many completely new and designed to take full advantage of the new console’s capabilities.


Key Exclusive Titles Presented:

  • Mario Kart World: The new installment of Nintendo’s most popular racing series launches alongside the console. It features open-world tracks and supports local and online multiplayer.

  • Donkey Kong Bananza: The iconic ape returns in a 3D platformer with open-world exploration and classic 2D sections, showcasing a more expressive Donkey Kong. Scheduled for release on July 17, 2025.

  • Kirby Air Riders: Directed by Masahiro Sakurai, this exclusive Switch 2 racing and action game will arrive in 2025, expanding the beloved Kirby franchise.

  • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment: Though full details were not revealed during the Direct, a new musou-style entry set in the Zelda universe was confirmed.

  • Drag X Drive: A sports game that makes use of the new Joy-Con’s mouse-like sensors exclusive to Switch 2, promising to leverage the system’s enhanced graphics and features.

  • The Duskbloods: A collaboration between FromSoftware and Nintendo, this action RPG offers a multiplayer experience set in a Gothic Victorian steampunk world featuring vampires. Exclusive to Switch 2.

All these titles, unless otherwise indicated, will be available on traditional physical cartridges with larger capacity and faster speeds.
