Nintendo Releases New Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Trailer Showcasing Survival on Planet Viewros

Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond titled Survive, showcasing Samus Aran confronting dangerous creatures and the hostile climate of the mysterious planet Viewros.

The game will launch on December 4, 2025 for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with pre-orders now available on the eShop. Players who purchase the Switch version will be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition through an upgrade pack.

In this new adventure, Samus Aran finds herself transported to Viewros, a planet once inhabited by an ancient civilization. Players must explore this environment while battling the strange creatures that inhabit it to find her way home. The trailer showcases:
